Our school is a safe and family-oriented learning community that provides students with the opportunity to earn college and career-ready certifications. We have smaller class sizes, highly effective teachers, and an integrated social/emotional curriculum to help students succeed. We also offer morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate different schedules, and our blended classes provide a unique blend of online and on-campus learning. If you're a parent looking for a high-quality education for your child in a supportive and uplifting environment, consider Pivot Charter School.
Admission & Lottery Process:
The application process at Pivot Charter School is as follows: Each year current students are given the opportunity to complete a recommitment application in January. If there are spaces remaining after recommitments are collected, prospective students are allowed to apply. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of vacant spaces for a grade level the potential students are entered into a lottery. The lottery takes place at the end of open enrollment (4/1/24). The families of the students that are selected in the lottery are notified via email. Those families are given 7 days to claim their spot. Those students not selected during the lottery process are notified via email and are placed on a waiting list. If the student that applied or the student that was selected in the lottery process does not complete the enrollment process a student from the waiting list will be allowed to fill the student vacancy. If there are vacancies that occur during the school year the administration reserves the right to hold another lottery to fill vacancies. Applications are only valid for one year and prospective students are required to complete a new application.
Pivot Charter School follows the state of Florida guidelines in regard to the application process. There are applicants that may be granted special preference according to Florida Statutes 1002.31, 1002.33, and 1002.38(2).
