Schedule a Meeting with Staff
To ensure we give every family personalized attention, Pivot Charter School requires that all meetings with teachers or administrators be scheduled in advance. Our administrators and staff are not available for unscheduled walk-ins. To set up a parent-teacher meeting or connect with school leadership, please email the staff member directly or use TalkingPoints to request an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and support in keeping communication respectful and productive.
Transcript Requests
For transcripts from the 2021–2022 school year and beyond, please email our Data Processor to submit your request. Allow 2–4 business days for a response. How to Advocate for Your Child: Who to Contact First
At Pivot Charter School, we believe students thrive when families and staff work together in partnership. If you have a question or concern, we’re here to support you—starting with the right point of contact helps ensure we can respond quickly, thoroughly, and with care.
To best serve you and your child, we kindly ask that families follow the appropriate communication steps. Reaching out in order helps us resolve concerns more efficiently and prevents unnecessary delays.
Step 1: Start with the Front Office or Your Child’s Classroom Teacher
If your concern involves attendance, bus service, updated contact information, or general administrative questions, please reach out to the Front Office.
For anything related to your child’s academics, behavior, or classroom experience, begin by contacting their teacher. Teachers are your best first step for understanding and addressing your child’s daily learning needs.
Step 2: Contact the Appropriate Program Supervisor
If your concern involves a specialized service, such as an IEP or 504 Plan, please reach out to the ESE Coordinator. Questions about English language support should be directed to the ESOL Coordinator, and gifted-related concerns to the Gifted Coordinator. If you're unsure who to contact, the Assistant Principal can help guide you to the right person.
Step 3: Contact the Assistant Principal
If the concern remains unresolved after the initial steps—or if you’re unsure how to proceed—please reach out to the Assistant Principal. Whether your concern is academic, behavioral, or administrative, the Assistant Principal is the appropriate next point of contact for continued support and coordination.
Step 4: Contact the Principal
Should your concern remain unresolved after working with the Assistant Principal or a program supervisor, you may reach out to the School Principal for further guidance and support. Please reach out to the front office to set up an appointment.
Step 5: Contact the Educational Director
In rare cases where all previous steps have been taken and the issue is still unresolved, the Educational Director may be contacted to help find a final resolution.
